Mold Caused by Flood Damage
Flood water is what we call "Catergory 3" water. This means that it nasty, unsanitary water. So, when this kind of water touches porous materials, it must be removed. If the materials are not removed quickly, microbial growth begins to appear. That was the situation in this home. Flood water reached several feet into this home and sat for a few days until our team arrived to mitigate and re mediate the water and growth. As you can see, we removed all affected sheet rock and treated the studs and materials behind the walls. The home was then ready to begin renovations.
